Kitchari is is the traditional cleansing food of Ayurveda.
It is a combination of split mung beans and white basmati rice with plenty of spices, depending on your constitution.
You can find the traditional kitchari recipe in my e-book
and several other gluten free, vegetarian and vegan versions

The Kitchari cleanse is a 3 day break based on eating
plenty of comforting, light and easy-to-digest food with plenty of herbs and spices
to support and rekindle your Agni, the digestive fire.
In Ayurveda, having good digestion or a lively Agni (meaning “fire” in Sanskrit)
is one of the most important pillars of maintaining good health.
