I think I never wrote a post as long as this one. I was writing it for several days, after lots of research.
I already shared my yummy spirulina chia pudding recipe with you. Now I have two types of alkalizing lemonade recipe idea for the hot summer day.
ALKALIZE + ACTIVATE
Did you know that there is a link between our bodies pH level and the ability of cancer cells to survive? Cancer cells not only exist in an acidic environment, they also make your body even more acidic with the lactic acid they produce. Those who suffer from any kind of cancer, has the levels of potential hydrogen low and their body is in an acidic state. 100% of patients diagnosed with cancer had acidic pH levels when tested. Alkalizing your body is vital in the battle against cancer and other chronic diseases.
Unfortunately the majority of the food and beverages we consume are acidic. Think of meat, grains, processed sugar, soda drink,s junk food etc… This depletes the body of natural, alkaline minerals such as sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium, making us prone to chronic and degenerative diseases. In this scenario your body will borrow the minerals from your vital organs and bones to neutralize the acid and remote it from your body, which over time takes a toll on these organ’s abilities to function. If you have NOT been eating an ENTIRELY plant based diet, full of fresh fruits and veggies, most likely your body is too acidic, creating the ideal environment for cancer cells to grow in. Too much acidity in the body is an underlying factor in not just cancer, but many other degenerative diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia and more.
But there are good news too!

A study found that spirulina had anti-atherogenic effects (reducing the build-up of plaque within arterial walls) even when fed a high cholesterol diet. There is also some evidence that spirulina may help reduce anaemia. One study on 40 older people with a history of anaemia found that supplementing with spirulina helped improve the haemoglobin levels in red blood cells. There have also been a few trials into spirulina supplementation in sport, and early evidence that it may help improve both muscle strength and exercise performance.
Spirulina helps to detoxify heavy metals from your body, eliminates candida, lowers blood pressure, prevents cancer and can even improve symptoms of HIV/AIDS.
Spirulina is the most alkaline food on our planet ( along with Chlorella)
Helps to balance your body’s pH levels naturally and improve your overall health and wellbeing.
