The body does best with seasonal foods that sprout up just in time to help us renew and refresh ourselves. When I see dandelion greens coming up in the spring I know its time for some liver cleansing with a tasty recipe like this one!

Dandelion root tea can be found in most grocery and health foods stores. Cold brew the tea with one bag overnight or heat on the stove top for 5 minutes and then chill in the fridge. Juice the remaining ingredients, then mix with the chilled tea, and enjoy!

Spring Liver Cleanse Tonic Recipe

5 dl dandelion root tea

2 medium sized beets

2 large carrots

1 thumb sized ginger

1 lemon
